Marianne Mason has headed the Board of Trustees since 1996, now managing foreign teacher exchanges for more than 700 foreign teachers annually.  Though teachers hail from fifty countries, most work in private or charter French, Greek, Spanish, German, Italian or Mandarin immersion, International and Baccalaureate schools and public schools in 35 states.

Her book, J1 Visa Uncloaked–Complete Cultural Training Guide, Vol. II, established her as an expert in the foreign teacher exchange field.  Available on, it offers a collection of cultural adjustment orientation materials for teachers plus information about the J-1 teacher visa that supports it. Aided by professional American and foreign-born educators, she has compiled workshop exercises, visa and immigration booklets, pre-arrival and orientation manuals translated into French, German, Greek, Mandarin and Spanish.

As writer/director, Ms. Mason has produced three dozen CHF orientation and instruction videos and staged annual new-teacher orientation workshops in four languages in twenty-five US cities including New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, New Orleans, Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Indianapolis, Portland OR, and Salt Lake City.  See CHF Orientation Videos and Instruction Videos.

She earned a Master of Science degree in Non-profit Management from New School University NYC in 2005 and a post-grad Non-profit Management Certificate from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2008. Fluent in French and Spanish, her career in education began as a French teacher in a public school.
