Marianne Mason was elected President of the Cordell Hull Foundation in 1999 by the Board of Trustees, after serving as Executive and Senior Vice President for eleven years. She oversees teacher exchange programs in several hundred French, Greek, Spanish, German, Italian and Mandarin immersion, International and Baccalaureate schools across the U.S. She is also a writer, director, producer, workshop designer, spokeswoman and certified Feng Shui practitioner.
Her book, J1 Visa Uncloaked–Complete Cultural Training Guide, Vol. II is a collection of cultural adjustment orientation materials for CHF’s international teachers from over sixty countries updated in 2015. Aided by a team of professional American and foreign-born educators, she has created workshop exercises and orientation manuals offered in six languages: English, French, German, Greek, Mandarin and Spanish. Ms. Mason holds a Non-profit Management Certificate from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Masters degree in Non-profit Management from New School University. Fluent in French and Spanish, she resides in Manhattan.
